About

Hello and welcome to my blog on how to use the Web for professional and business growth.

As a reader of this blog, you’d find well-researched articles, tips, book reviews, and my favourite lists on:

  • Personal and career development and success literature
  • How to keep up with technology change (using online productivity tools, gadgets etc)
  • Entrepreneurship and using today’s environment of ultra-capitalism for growth
  • Business and marketing strategy, role of outsourcing and taking advantage of the flat-world.
  • Marketing and advertising in the “new media order” (my term for personalisation of media, decline of TV and corresponding growth in social media). My favourite theme is how marketers may adapt to the new paradigm of pull based, permission advertising of search engines and social media. This is covered in much more detail in Web Business Age that I will edit.
