New books in my library: September 2009

October 5, 2009 in New Ideas in Business & Marketing, Type of Content: Book Review

I have added a few books in my library over the past few months. There are two marketing strategy books bordering on theory. One is a practical resource on developing selling skills. Imagining India is written by Nandan Nilekani, co-founder of Infosys and a star CEO with a compelling vision not just for his industry but also the country he has made such a lot difference in.

Follow the links to check them out at Amazon if you are interested in any.

Buyology: Truth and Lies About Why We Buy: Neuro-marketing findings and research
Strategic Market Management (Strategic Market Managment): Textbook for strategic marketing course that I just completed at MGSM taught by Richard Carter.
Ziglar on Selling: The Ultimate Handbook for the Complete Sales Professional
Imagining India: The Idea of a Renewed Nation: Written
The 3 Mistakes of My Life - With this I now have all three of Chetan Bhagat’s most well-known books although purchased individually. You may get a 3-in-1 though - Chetan Bhagat - 3 Books in 1; The 3 Mistakes of My Life; One Night At The Call Center; Five Point Someone (1)

Ammi by Saeed Mirza: This book is not yet listed on Amazon but you may buy in India at Indiaplaza. This is an amazing book debut by master film-maker Saeed Mirza. His films include Indian art movies such as Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho!(1984), Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Ata Hai (1980), Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro (1989) and TV series Nukkad.
